The Royal Gorge Route scrapped 5305 during the last week of September 2012. These pictures were taken the morning of 2 Oct 2012 of the small remaining amount of scrap near the Canon City shops

That said, 5305 was sitting just ahead of it two weeks ago, which makes me wonder about 2238's fate. [800x533] [1600x1067] [3000x2000] Closer examination shows that this was likely an early EMD product, based on the mangled chicken wire grill sticking out and some of the hatches.
