Cottonwood was the location of a copper mining camp at the the eastern terminus of the 17-mine Crestone Branch, and the original reason for the branch's construction. Trains ceased serving Cottonwood by 1923, and the rails were removed circa 1929. Maps and Photos(None - yet) Categories: Locations |
