Bond, CO, was the first major facility on the Dotsero Cutoff, and served as the crew change point between Subdivision 1 and Subdivision 4-A. It was located about 0.7 miles west of the actual rail junction at Orestod.

Today, Union Pacific considers Bond to extend from what was formerly the east switch of Orestod clear through the west switch of Bond. The junction with the Craig Branch at what was formerly the west end of Orestod is now referred to as Center Bond.
