San Luis & Rio Grande Equipment San Luis & Rio Grande Passenger Cars RPCX 2970

RPCX 2970, as it appears on the San Luis & Rio Grande's tourist train operations.



The car was involved in the 26-Jul-2006 truck-train collision at Blanca, CO, along with RPCX 5067. Damage to the 2970 appears to be mostly mechanical - ripped sheet metal, broken windows, etc. The ensuing fire in the wrecked truck mainly damaged the 5067.
