On Sunday, 28-Oct-2007, KCS SD70ACe #4045 was bringing up the rear on a southbound BNSF coal train. Normally that wouldn't be notable, as a good number of KCS units come through, but I believe this is the first time the new KCS "Retro Belle" unit has appeared on the Joint Line. (The nickname of the paint scheme is in reference to resembling the Southern Belle scheme used on KCS passenger trains years ago.)

Less than 24 hours later on Monday morning (29-Oct-2007), a second new KCS unit - 4038 - came through on the point of H-DENKCM, with KCS 631 and BNSF 6702 trailing. The unit came into Denver off the Z-CHIDEN-27. I've added it to this album as well.
