News Photos SLRG 8524 and 1100 Leaving

San Luis & Rio Grande (aka Rio Grande Scenic) FP10 #1100 and B39-8E #8524 were moved to the Walsenburg, CO, interchange on 19 May 2011 for movement off the railroad. The FP10 is reportedly going to an Iowa Pacific sister property, the Saratoga and North Creek Railroad in Saratoga Springs, NY. The 8524's destination is unknown but I suspect that it'll also be going to the S&NC, given that they've apparently picked a D&H-inspired paint scheme for the line.
