MNZX F9s moved dead on flatcars south from Denver to Pueblo, CO, on Saturday, 28 Mar 2015. The two engines were most recently used on the now-defunct Minnesota Zephyr dinner train out of Stillwater, MN. The passenger cars from the train arrived in Alamosa for storage nearly two years ago (summer 2013), but the engines languished in Stillwater until late December 2014. They slowly worked their way west, and finally made the trip down the Joint Line in daylight. It's anticipated that they'll be delivered to Walsenburg and hauled to Alamosa by the SLRG in the coming week.
