D&RGW 2-8-2 Class K-37 492 at Cumbres, Colorado on August 20, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 492 was the helper on the rear of easbound the train and is seen topping off the water, then will shove the caboose back on the wye and pull forward on the west leg of the wye, the switch will be thrown, the caboose will roll forward onto the east leg of the wye and couple onto its train. Number 484 on the head end will pump up the air, and depart to Alamosa and 492 will return to Chama.
