A pair of SD45's and a GP30 head east on 4-21-79. Out of sight around the corner, the caboose is nearing the East switch of Debeque siding. In a few years, the new I-70 overpass will be constructed just behind the photographer.

X5339 E has just departed Ruby Canyon and is climbing the gentle grade along Salt Creek. This view is from just south of the I-70 overpass and is another of the rescued views. Seen in October 1978.

After a crew change at Grand Jct., the 5339E awaits a signal at East Tunnel in Debeque Canyon. A meet with what appears to be #187 is occuring as can be seen in the distance on the left. View marked as processed in October, 1978.

In the next several views, we'll watch activity from the yard tower. A crew is heading out to the 3113, which appears to be the Minturn local. Meanwhile SD7 5304 is gathering blocks of cars for another eastbound.
