e Rio Grande. Silica sand is use for locomotive sand and is found=C2=A0only=

of these cars please let me know. I would like to finish this research and=
share it with everyone in the Prospector. This is one of the little side s=

... and where and how the railroad=C2=A0received those commodities has been d=
iscussed before. I have not been aware of any discussions of where the sand=
came from, which is almost as important as fuel on a mountain railroad. I =

- not good for wheels or rail!
