Another resource are the USGS historical 1:24000 scale topographic maps ava=
ilable for free download at

Click on (Download maps now through topoView)

Choose <Map Name> in the search box and enter the map name (Englewood, CO)

Choose the base year and edition year closest to your era of interest, let=
=92s say 1957 (1958 edition)

Click on the map icon to view the map on-line to make sure it shows what yo=
u want to see (you can zoom in)

To download click on (GeoTiff) for the highest rez version and download the=
zipped file (also avaialbe as jpeg and pdf)

Click on the Zip icon to extract the folder, the map file is in the folder,=
open with your preferred viewer

Zoom in on the South Platte River along the upper left side of the map and =
you will see the Gates buildings and its rail spurs just below the Valley H=
ighway (I-25) and the South Denver diamond.
