Top speed for a K-36 or K-37 set by the D&RGW was 35mph--with a train in to=
w I'd suspect they would be somewhere between 25-30mph on that stretch of t=
rack. The big K's were not designed for speed but for power going up the s=
teep grades. The Valley line was scrapped in 1951.
