Jim, assuming that you mean the reinforcing gusset attached to the trailer'=
s bottom rail directly above the landing gear, I=E2=80=99m looking at a pho=
to of PFT 120061 in V.2 of the Piggyback Color Guide and I can assure you t=
hat the gussets were very much present on the PFT 120000-120200 series buil=
t in 1961-62. That said, although the gusset was definitely used on early 1=
960s Fruehauf vans it was deleted on later similar vans built in the 1964-6=
6 period. In that case, simply removing the gusset is easy enough to do, ev=
en on a decorated model.

s some of us can find decals and do up some undecs.

That is my intention. Watch for it on the MFCL and Modelintermodal lists.
