I am curious as to how you did the trucks on the 4-wheeled cars.
They are on my list of future project, mostly due to the trucks.
I enjoy the 1880's for the variety. Santa Fe cars, 4-wheeled
cars etc. Also this was the day of mainline narrow gauge
railroading. Many of the D&RGW modelers lament the days of the
San Juan and ignore the fact that in the 1880's one could have taken
a narrow gauge sleeper from Denver all the way to Montana. And had
two choices going through Colorado. D&RG or South Park.
Alas my vacations to Colorado are far and few in between. So
when I do get the opportunity, I try to get in as much research as I
am able. Freeways up and back. So have never been able to visit the
area. I would like to be able to take my time and look over the area.
